Post Studio Tour

For those of you who could not make it to the Uxbridge Studio Tour, here are some photographs of my special material prints:

Study of a Rose II, print with acrylic - Red Heart Photography

Study of a Rose II, print with acrylic, 8×12. This particular type of print can go outside and it will not fade for 150 years, or so I’ve been told!

Sunburst, print on canvas - Red Heart Photograpy

Sunburst, print on canvas, 12×18. I get my canvas made at a Canadian company that use hand-woven Montreal canvas. Quality first!

Grill, print on metal - Red Heart Photography

Grill, print on metal, 16×24. Metal was the crowd favourite at the Tour. It also can weather the outdoors and not fade for 150 years!

The tour went wonderfully. One day was super nice, for the second the weather was iffy but thankfully the heavens did not open up until after the tour was over.

The prints on metal were the biggest hits, and industrial and travel seemed to be crowd favourites. Duly noted.

Thanks to everyone who made it out – to those who missed it, hope I can see you next time. No more shows until next year, and I’m hoping 2014 will hopefully bring at least three. One has been confirmed, two more are near-confirmed.

Until then, this blog will continue so please do read on!

And it is always possible to browse the galleries and ask about custom orders!

Thank you so much to all those who are supportive! Cheers!

Upcoming Event: Uxbridge Studio Tour, September 14-15, 2013

For all of those in the Greater Toronto Area (or looking for a day/weekend trip in southern Ontario) – please check out the Uxbridge Studio Tour.

There are many amazing artists who have opened up their homes and studios for guests. You can see their art, buy their art and speak with them – they are amazingly friendly people!

I will also be there, a guest artist of sculptor Gerd Untermann. Check us out at site 27!

Here’s the link to the site with a digital pamphlet and map!
